Shaped by the wind.
Made for the quiet.

Our response

The plan puts the dining terrace on the sheltered side of the house, with an offset screen that lets people move through without leaving a direct opening to the wind. Planting stays low across the seaward boundary to protect the outlook. Gravel paths and pale limestone paving connect the more open garden to a leafy pocket beside the house. The material schedule keeps the terrace, steps and seat wall in the same small palette. A separate planting schedule distinguishes exposed edges from sheltered beds.
